The Norfolk Broads

This is a collection of photos of a section of the Norfolk Broads in England UK. The Norfolk Broads are a series of hand made broads (lakes) which span nearly 117 square miles around counties of Norfolk and Suffolk in East Anglia. They provide popular fishing, rowing, sailing, nature spotting and entertainment locations. Many cafes, restaurants and pubs over look the water and offer picturesque views and family fun. Dating back as far – maybe even beyond – medieval times, they are water filled peat excavations. This is just one very small section of the broads close to where I live. If you are ever in Norfolk, be sure to pay them a visit, they are beautiful.

As with all my photos, you are free to use them but please reference WrittenByNikki.com as the source.
